Well, it is really great to see that so many of you were moved and inspired by Harriet McBryde Johnson's essay "Unspeakable Conversations." As she mentioned in the piece, there was a lot of controversy and frankly, disapproval of her interactions with Peter Singer. Unfortunately, Harriet McBryde Johnson passed away in 2008 and her New York Times Tribute was written by Peter Singer. As you can imagine, this didn't go over well with many individuals in the disability rights movement.
